The Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership are committed to maintaining an effective multi-agency safeguarding and community safety system in Shropshire. The Coronavirus pandemic has placed additional challenges upon the Partnership and the organisations that make up its Networks in achieving this. To ensure that essential multi-agency community safety and safeguarding activity is not compromised by the impact of Coronavirus, multi-agency safeguarding and community safety expected standards of service have been agreed. These expected standards apply to the individual statutory partners that make up the Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership and any services commissioned by the individual partners within it.
As members of the Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership and it’s networks please ensure that, where applicable to you, that these standards are disseminated and embedded throughout your organisations and service areas.
If an Organisation or service area is not able to fulfil the expected standards, an SSCP Staffing Impact Assessment should be completed and submitted to SSCPBusinessunit@shropshire.gov.uk to be considered by the Executive Group of the Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership.
